PROPOSAL

Before you start on any design work, make sure that you understand exactly what you need to do by reading the requirements for each component of the storybook.

TASK 1: Get some ideas by looking at existing products. Try searching for the Cbeebies website and look then search for "stories".  Remember, however, in this case you audience is NOT going to be children!

TASK 2: Complete this proposal.

Target audience. Is it an individual or a group? Is it someone you know? Is it for a particular age group? Male/female? 

 

Topic and style. What will your story be about?  What style do you want - fun,  serious, etc?

 

Characters. Who or what will be in your story?  Will they be real or cartoon?

 

Outline of the story. How will your story start? What will happen next? Where will the action take place? Where and how will you offer the user a choice of routes? How will it end?

 

Animated endings. What type of animation will you use? What will each animation do?

 Save the proposal for your eportfolio.
